Belgian Waffle Recipe

This is a recipe for crispy Belgian Waffles.

belgian waffles

If you travel in Poland, it is safe to say that everywhere you go you will see waffles.

They are known as Goffry in Polish. You will note signs offering Goffry and Lody - waffles and ice cream.

This recipe is one that is generally made in the home because it uses yeast. Those that you find in the kiosks are usually made with baking powder. Those made with powder lend themselves more to massive production.

And that these waffles take a bit more time makes them somewhat unique and attractive because you don't always get the real thing.
