Apple Orange Glace Recipe
Recipe for apple glace and orange apple glace for meats, buns and pies.
Make this glace either as a plain apple glace or as an apple orange glace.
To make an apple glace, dissolve 1/2 cup of sugar in 1 cup of apple juice or apple cider.
Boil it until it makes a thin syrup. Let it cool.
To make apple orange glace, dissolve 1/2 coup of sugar in 1/2 cup of apple juice and 1/2 cup of orange juice combined.
Boil until it makes a thin syrup. Let it cool.
When you step back and remind yourself that people eat with their eyes, you will see the many uses for glace.
Use it in the last stages of baking turkey, chicken or duck. And after they come out of the oven, give them a final coat that will make them shine.
Give a coat of apple orange glace to buns, breads and pie crusts.
Put some over pancakes and waffles.
