As you move around Warsaw by car, as large at the Park is, you are more than likely to miss Park Szczesliwicki. That is because it is located behind the large shopping center complex on Al. Jerozolimskie. It is another of those parks known to the residents and missed by visitors.
The Park is large and beautiful. It is a favored among Warsaw residents to take their children for family fun.
The path pavements are well paved and perfect for roller blades. And they are wide enough that everyone has room.
On the edge of the park is small man made hill that in winter offers skiing and snowboarding possibilities. And in the summer you can take a ride in one of the small cars that is towed to the top, let free and coasts with you, rather rapidly, around and down the hill.
The Park is dominiated by a large pond. The paths circle the pond. The views are pleasant. There are many places to sit and relax.
Generally this is a family park. There are a couple places you can get food and drink. But for the most part it is one of those places where you find families spending time together.
