THE WIELICZKA SALT MINE UNDERGROUND REHABILITATION AND TREATMENT CENTRE

The Wieliczka Salt Mine Treatment Center is located 135 meters underground in a uniquely beautiful chamber called the Lake Wessel Salt Chamber.
The unique feature of the treatment center is its microclimate that is heavily laden with sodium chloride, magnesium and calcium ions. The air is bacteriologically pure.
The treatment center is also well equipped with state of the art physio therapy equipment.
By its nature, the mine focuses on treatment of respiratory tract problems. It has been shown that treatment at the mine is especially beneficial in treating asthma, allergies, respiratory problems, skin diseases and metabolic dysfunction (obesity).
There are several treatment routines available. The most often subscribed to procedure lasts seventeen days, fourteen of which you are actively engaged underground in the treatment chamber. During that time you stay in one of the two hotels in Wieliczka.
The four days that you are not underground are yours to tour. You are only a short distance from Krakow if you want to go there. And there are other local attractions that will keep you more than busy.
You are booked in one of two hotels in Wieliczka in a double room with shower, WC, telephone, Satellite TV, Internet connection and a refrigerator. If you wish, you may have a single room.
And, of course, you get a tour of the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the Krakow Salt-Works Museum.
