Emigration by Polish women to the West leads many into traps. They end up ensnared by criminals who sell them into white slavery.

Taking advantage of the fact that young Poles are emigrating West in droves, women traders place ads for workers to work as waitresses, at hotels or other places that will take a woman with low qualifications.
When the women respond, they are transported out of Poland. When they get to their destination, they are physically intimidated and their passports taken.
They are beaten and their families threatened. They rape them and film them in degrading sex acts. Sometimes they are started on a course of drugs that leads them to drug addiction and dependence on their handlers.
The women are then taught to steal and put into prostitution.
The women are afraid to go to the police for many reasons, or if they do, follow through on their testimonies to aid in prosecution. They often change their testimonies once their handlers find that they have testified.
In some cases the gangs have connections to the women's home town and threaten the family.
In other cases, they simply threaten the girl.
Sometimes they blackmail the women with the filmed sex tapes.
Polish women are in danger of being thrust into slavery just by walking down the street. There have been reports of gangs grabbing women off the street, throwing them in a van and immediately drugging them so they can be transported to a removed location and "trained".
There is little a woman can do to be safe from being forced into white slavery. It is very difficult to check the validity of an advertisement for work in a foreign country. And there is almost nothing that can be done against being grabbed off the street by men with knockout drugs.
