Post ReplyEbay wants eBay.com to be for US customers and has made changes to discourage listing of Polish products shipped from Poland. The changes also apply to products from other countries and other foreign locations.
The effect of the changes is that eBay.com is mainly for US members now.
EBay forced the change by modifying the listing form that now requires one to choose a US shipping company. This effectively eliminates Polish shippers from having their products listed on eBay.com if shipped from Poland.
Previously one was not required to designate a shipping service,; domestic or international. But many sellers abused that and, according to eBay, did not post “honest listings”.
The eBay change is intended to “make the site balance and accurate when it comes to prices.”
