Rules For Posting
The Polish News Roundup is a cooperative news site that focuses on Poland and world events related to Poland.
As a cooperative news site, we depend on our readers to add news articles. As such, you are invited to post articles related to Poland and things affecting it.
We want news, information and informative opinion.
Articles, op ed, columns and comment are preferred from on-line newspapers, magazines, trade publications, chamber of commerce news and advisories, news sites and blogs. Note, however, Associated Press articles are banned. (AP has caused legal problems for some bloggers for posting only short snippets and we are not interested.)
If you have authored a news article, opinion piece, professional paper, or informative paper, you are welcome to submit it to us for inclusion in our own news site and subsequently here.
We do not accept posts related to or from US political blogs. They are a world unto themselves and have no place here.
And we do not accept vanity posts, pornography or anything illegal or that is even tainted by hate.
Affiliate links and redirects are not allowed in posts and profiles.
Do not violate copyright. All sources must be identified and linked to. Even so, limit the amount of someone else’s copyright material you post. Do not post their entire works.
Try to keep posts to less than 75 words. Never exceed 100.
If you want to get attention to an entire article that you have written:
We encourage diversity of opinion and encourage you to speak your mind. But we expect that you do it without vulgarity. If you cannot communicate rationally, you are not welcome here and will be banned.
But within those restrictions, freedom of speech reins here. You have the right to insult and be insulted. Just do it with style. And if you can’t handle people with a different opinion than yours, leave now and don’t look back.
No affiliate links are allowed. No advertising is allowed. Advertorials are not allowed.
All posts are approved several times per day, provided that we reserve the right to arbitrarily refuse to publish any post or comment.
Users who show a tendency to ignore our rules will be banned.
