Polish Government Controlling Information Distribution On LOT

The newspaper provided on LOT airlines has been changed to a radical Roman catholic publication by Tadeusz Rydzyk.

In December, 2005 Polish Prime Minister Marcinkiewicz replaced almost all members of the board of the Polish airline LOT. In February, 2006 the leftist "Trybuna" daily newspaper, which has been available in LOT airplanes for 15 years, was replaced by extremely rightist and Roman Catholic daily "Nasz Dziennik" associated with Father Tadeusz Rydzyk. According to LOT spokesman, the change was made to cut costs. But at the same time he says, that it was the passengers themselves that asked for this daily many times. Given that Trybuna left a lot to be desired as a news source, a change is logical if one wants to present something better. Why not a mainstream newspaper like Gazetta Wyborcza?

Why the publication from Rydzyk? Is this a favor in return for his support of the Polish government?

Is this part of the information control plan that the current Polish government seems to have in place?
