When someone makes a purchase of products from the Merchant using your code, you get paid.
How To Make Money As An Affiliate
The standard approach is to put either a banner or text link in your web site. Customers click on the banner and are taken to the merchant's site. You are paid a commission on sales that result.
A more effective way to make money as an affiliate it to promote an affiliate program that gives you a discount code that:
promotes your web site,
customers can send to their friends and you can get credit for sales even though they never visited your web site,
can be used in newspaper and classified advertisments.
