That Global warming is occurring is not really contested. But is it a man made problem or is it just a natural cycle.

Fossil evidence shows that the oceans levels have gone up and down over the history of the earth. And in spite of ice ages and hot periods, the earth has survived.

But some people want to fight either what nature is doing alone or what nature is doing in conjunction with man.

And nature seems to be fighting back.

The people in Canada protesting the US position on the Koyoto treaty had to brave unusual cold weather to protest global warming.

Oil prices are rising because of cold weather in the Northeastern US with colder weather projected yet. The US is COLD!

Projections are that Europe will be colder in the next decades, perhaps as cold as Siberia.

That means that people will need more heating oil. And more heating oil means more carbons into the atmosphere.

More carbons into the atmosphere will cause more global warming. So we go into a vicious cycle as the world gets warmer because it is colder in the winter.
