About The Outlook And The Editor

Classified Polnews

You can expect to read the unspeakable in the Outlook. It is not politically correct and owes allegiance to no one. It calls it as it sees it.

The Outlook went online in 1995. The archive contains a large collection of articles reflecting the changes that have occurred in Poland since that time.

Articles are contributed by people interested in Poland.

The Editor of the Outlook is Gary Granai. He started doing business with and spending a lot of time in Poland in 1991. He formed the second commercial internet company in Poland in 1996, which was sold to an investor, and continued with the MasterPage and five other sites published about Poland and Polish business.

He no longer has a business in Poland because he came to the conclusion a long time ago that Poland is not business friendly. And that applies to foreign companies in particular. He is now in the trade, promotion and consulting business.

Gary Granai is based in Webster, Massachusetts and imports products from Poland that are stored in a warehouse in Massachusetts and distributed to wholesalers and retailers in North America.

Due to his past ownership of a business in Poland and his frequent buying trips to Poland, he has been very active in the business community in Poland. See About The Management Of MasterPage And The Poland Chamber Web Sites

He is not a journalist. He is just a businessman who distributes Polish products and, as such, is very concerned with the financail health of Polish companies and their competitiveness on the world markets.

News and opinion leads that are used for articles published come from Polish people with whom Mr. Granai has close contact. They review news sources such as the Polish newspapers Gazeta Wyborcza, Zycie Warszawa, Rzeczpolita, Polish Press Agency, press conferences of Polish Politicians, and political commentary programs on radio and television. These are all weighed against the opinions of Polish people who so freely contribute their ideas and opinions before an article is written.

This service is based in Webster, Massachusetts and the supporting internet servers are in the United States.
