Polish Bank Clients Against Opening Labor Market To Eastern Europeans
A poll run by ING Bank in Poland indicates that only 1/3 of the people in the survey are in favor of opening the Polish labor market to immigrants from Eastern Europe.

The Bank queried some 36,000 clients that used its internet banking services. 54% of the respondents were against opening the labor market while 35% were in favor of it and 11% had no opinion.

Polish labor itself has historically caused fear in labor markets to the East. When Poland was admitted to the European Union not all countries opened their labor markets.
And for those countries that did, there was in fact a huge exodus of Polish workers to countries such as the United Kingdom.
And many worked illegally in those where labor markets were closed.
Many of those workers have since returned to Poland.
