Will Historic Polish Workers Homes Be Destroyed?
Homes for workers rebuilding Warsaw donated by Finland to Poland after World War II may be destroyed.

The small houses are located near Park Ujadoski in Warsaw in a secluded and quite location. They were built using advanced technology and donated to Poland as part of a debt payment from Finland to Russia.
Similar homes in another area have previously been razed for new development.
A final decision as to their status has not been made.
At that time other housing was built for workers rebuilding Warsaw's Old Town and for those building the Palace of Culture.
Mariensztat, where people working on the Old Town lived, continues today as an active community. See Mariensztat.
