Classified Polnews

The presence of German anarchists in Warsaw on Poland's Independence Day has raised a political firestorm. But fact checkers are unable to fully reconstruct what happened. Charges and countercharges go on while news services dig for facts to find out who started the fights.

Local news services have been interviewing as many people as they can find to try to lay out the sequence of events that ended up with the arrest of the German anarchists.

To date their best guess seems to be that after assembling on ul. Nowy Swiat near the corner of ul. Swietokrzyska, they moved, as a group of over 90 strong, South towards Aleje Jerozolimskie.

About midway on the path, they met a group of Poles dressed in November Uprising military uniforms, which uniforms included long guns. The Poles were walking toward the assembly area for the Warsaw Historical Parade. (Video of the Parade. )

The Poles claim they were spat upon. The Germans say they spat in their direction but did not spit on them.

The Poles spat back and a struggle ensued. Jacek Nieszczerzewicz, one of the Poles said that having the long guns gave the outnumbered Poles an advantage.

Police separated them and sent both groups on their separate ways.

The police security camera having been vandalized has not allowed the police to review the events. The police are now trying to recover data from the camera.

As the Germans continued toward Jerozolimskie they came upon four people wearing red and white scarves.

A fight started and one of those four became bloodied.

A leftist group writes that the Germans were met by members of the extreme right and were attacked verbally and physically. So they had to defend themselves.

At this point riot police, deployed out of site but fully prepared to round up the Germans should they violate the law, moved in and chased the Germans back towards Swietokrzyska. The Germans ran into the Nowy Wspanialy Swiat restaurant. They were arrested. Video

Police recovered from the restaurant black face masks, wooden tool handles, pepper spray, mouth guards and brass knuckles.

The four Poles dressed in red and white scarves were unknown. But a picture of the bloodied combatant made it to the web and reporters from Gazeta Polska Codziennie found him.

Identified as 40 year old Rafał Gołuch, he is originally from Gdynia but now lives in the UK. He came from the UK for the celebrations.

When interviewed he said he wanted to celebrate the Holiday but "accidentally" came across German anarchists who beat him.

Reporters found that he keeps a facebook page.

He warns against future of the race, is worried about the white culture and saddened by the Jewish criminals.

On that facebook page, two weeks before he "accidentally" came across the German anarchists, he wrote that on the upcoming March of Independence there will be leftists from Germany. He said, (translated so not in quotes) If I find anybody who doesn't respect the Polish celebration, I will be the first one to raise my hands at them. (The meaning in Polish is to hit someone.)
