Polish President - Smolensk Russia Airport Crash Site Picture

Warsaw, Poland 14 April, 2010 - The Polish Newspaper Gazetta Wyborcza has published a satellite picture of the crash site at which Poland's President Lech Kaczynski lost his life.

The picture shows a flight path that was not lined up with any runway.
If one looks at a satelite picture of the airport on Google Maps, it is quickly seen that the Polish plane was well to the left of the landing strip. And note the lack of trees in the approach path to the proper landing strip.
No information has been released yet as to why the Polish plane was where it was.
Update - 17 April, 2010
As more information is made public, the planes final flight path has been determined.
