Polish Weather Outlook For Poland Week Of 26 November, 2007
Warsaw, Poland - 27 November, 2007 The weather around Poland for the next week will continue to be a mix of rain and snow. Snow will be more likely in Southern Poland, but all Polish communities have been getting their share.
Some areas have enough accumulation of snow to make driving difficult. There is snow in the mountains and people are headed for the slopes to ski. Ski resorts are building a base by using their snow making equipment.
Temperatures will hover around freezing. So when there is a prediction for rain, it may mean that you get freezing rain or snow. And the same applies for predictions about snow.
Snow accumulations can be expected in the South and definitely in the mountains. In Warsaw, the snow melts soon after it hits the streets.
There is a wind, at times, that makes it down right uncomfortable.
Here is one long range forecast for Warsaw. It generally reflects what you can expect. Regardless of what it says, dress for a windy, cold, wet, gray day and you will be safe. Even though it is winter and there might be an uncomfortable wind, you should consider bringing an umbrella with you. And do be sure to bring a scarf. That makes a lot of difference in the wind.
