And that has prompted a lot of questions not only in the media but among the general public.

Today journalists pressed Senat Marszalek Krzysztof Putra of the Law and Justice Party as to the President's intentions. He first responded to a question about whether the President would appoint Radek Sikorsk- as Foreign Minister (see Poland's Exiting Government Attacks Ex Polish Minister Of Defense ) by saying that the President would follow the constitution. When asked if the President would appoint someone other than Tusk to form the new government, he said that anything is possible. http://wiadomosci.gazeta.pl/Wiadomosci/1,80269,4640079.html Komorowski: Szczyglo ma jakis kompleks
Donald Tusk likewise appears uncomfortable. During his visit to Great Britain yesterday he publicly asked the President to appoint him as prime minister as soon as possible. He should not have to do that since it is a matter of tradition and should happen as a matter of course. Additionally he asked Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski to not do anything that would delay the formation of the new government. Why he had to make a point of asking that has not been explained. http://www.zw.com.pl/zw2/index.jsp?place=Lead04&&news_cat_id=16&news_id=172577&layout=1&forum_id=48496&page=text" Tusk: nowy rzad jak najszybciej
Tomorrow the President will not make a speech at the first meeting of the Polish Parliament. His brother, Jaroslaw, will make it in his stead.
It has some wondering.
