On Strike
The occupation of the Prime Minister's Chancellory continues as the nurses demand to hold negotiations with Prime Minister Kaczynski in his Chancellory while he wants them held elsewhere.
The Prime Minister does not want to agree to negotiations with people participating in an illegal occupation. The nurses want their demands met.
The Government has provided them with food and water. They have been sleeping on newspapers on the floor.
They have no soap, feminine hygiene supplies or clean underwear. In response to their request for these items, it is reported that Wieslaw Siewierski, a member of the Law And Justice Party, close confidant of the Prime Minister and former nurse, asked what would the Government get in return for them. There are no reports regarding the Government's decision to supply the women with what they need for personal hygiene.
When asked what would happen if the Woman's Solidarity Movement would supply the nurses needs, Siewierski responded, "I don't want questions like that!"
There is outrage among women all over Poland.
