Poland's 9 Day Long Weekend Starts Friday For Polish Workers
Warsaw, Poland 25 April 2007 Poland's First of May long weekend starts on Friday and lasts until 6 May as the Polish holidays make it wise to take time off from work. Poland will go into summer routine.
Tuesday, 1 May is May Day and Thursday, 3 May, is Constitution Day. That means that each work day during the week is separated by a holiday.
The holiday routine for the week makes it convenient for people to leave for a long weekend on Friday and stay out for the week.
And that is just what will be done.
The very warm weather makes travel to vacation spots in Poland very attractive so the shore areas expect a surge of early season travelers.
