Burger King, Failed Once In The Polish Market, Enters Poland Again
Classified Polnews
Warsaw, Poland 14 March, 2007 There is nothing like trying again - after failing miserably. And Burger King's new entrance to Poland is an attempt to make a second first impression on the Polish market. The first impression left many definitely unimpressed.
Burger King was here once before. And to some of us who had the unfortunate opportunity to try their service in Warsaw, it was good to see them go.
The operation at that time could be described as an embarrassment.
Eating at a Burger King was like a revisit to the old Warsaw hamburger joint that was on ul Marszalkowska just up the street from the Forum Hotel in 1991.
They could not even keep all the bathrooms with working toilets no less keep them clean and provide soap so that you could wash your hands.
Recommendations and complaints about service and cleanliness, given directly to top management, were simple ignored.
They closed the outlets.
Let us see if they can make a successful second first impression.
