Former Head of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal Slams Polish Prime Minister
Warsaw, Poland 15 March, 2007 Poland's Consitutional Tribunal ruling on the local election law was not in accordance with the Polish Prime Minister's liking. And his reaction to the constitutional prompted a former head of the Consitutional Court to call for his resignation.
Kaczynski expected that the Court would rule in his favor on a case that would allow him to overturn the local elections in Poland and install Administrators where minor post election infractions of an election law occurred.

The Prime Minister was not happy. He said that the Constitutional Court perhaps needs further restructuring. And his party is reported to be considering how justices on the Court can be changed. http://www.gazetawyborcza.pl/1,75968,3985638.html See In Polish
Andrzej Zoll, a former head of the Constitutional Tribunal, slammed him by saying that he should resign his position as Prime Minister.
Zoll further said, "I assume that the PM has certain role models he wishes to follow, such as Alexander Lukashenko, who in 1996 purged the Belarusian tribunal. According to Zoll, when Lukashenko purged his court, all of Europe objected.
The Court will soon rule on the new Vetting Law. That ruling is sure to prompt more debate.
