Snow In Poland As Winter Finally Arrives

Warsaw, Poland 24 January, 2007 - Polish weather has suddenly changed and winter has finally arrived in Poland. The country is being blanketed in snow.
The weather change has been dramatic. Polish people have been enjoying a winter that was more like spring. In Warsaw it has been so warm that some plants have started to leaf out. But now it is cold and snowy.
The wind shifted from the West to the North and East. And with the cold Arctic air comes the snow.
Snow is forecast to fall for the next three days, at least, over most of the country.
Temperatures will be generally in the mid 20's Fahrenheit.
