Polish Christmas Ornament Factories Prepare For Frankfurt Fair

In Poland the 2007 Christmas selling season has started. Polish Christmas Ornament factories are in full production preparing for the Christmas World Trade Fair to be held in Frankfurt, Germany on 24 to 28 January, 2007.

This is the peak selling season for Christmas Ornament factories. They attend major trade fairs where they meet buyers from large retailers and distribution companies. Buyers come from all over the world to place their orders in order to take delivery starting in June.
Small retailers tend to order Christmas Ornaments in September and October. Factory owners explain that at that time of the year, it is not always possible to fill orders because they are usually still producing for orders taken in the early summer. Only excess production is available late in the season.
According to the Poland Import Export Chamber of Commerce on Line, some Polish factories have already shipped their first containers Christmas ornaments to distributors who supply year round Christmas and gift shops.

Polish factories report that in 2006 they saw a particular increase in demand for exclusive custom made ornaments to be used in fund raising activities and they have increased their offerings to include more variety in this class of ornament.
