Polish government claims provocation by enemies

Warsaw, Poland September 27, 2006. The political crisis in Poland prompted by the late night airing of secretly recorded tapes of conversations between a member of the Polish parliament and a representative of Poland's Prime Minister is claimed by the Prime Minister's party to be the work of leftist, liberals and the group of people who have led Poland for the past years which group is called the uklad.
The Head Of The Prime Minister' Office, Przemyslaw Gosiewski, said that this provocation is another attempt to protect the "uklad". He claims that the main protectors of uklad are: Leader of the Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, leader of SLD, Wojciech Olejniczak and Leader of Samoobrona, Andrzej Lepper.
Kuchcinski, the head of Law and Justice Parliamentary Club has also claimed that this whole thing is a provocation by the combined forces of the "uklad" - leftist and liberals. And he said tha the Civic Platform is responsible for this as well as for distabilization of the country.
He also said that Law And Justice wants a Sejm investigative committee to deal with this case. According to him, highly profesional equipment used by secret services was used on the premises of the SEJM.
Journalists Sekielski and Morozowski from TVN24, on whose program the secretly taped videos were first shown, said that it was their idea to tape the coalition negotiations.
The SLD wants the Prime Minister, Jaroslaw Kaczinski, to be put in front of the State Tribunal. They also want the President to come forward , speak to the nation and say what plan he has to resolve the situation. They also want the prosecutor general to wave the Prime Minister's immunity.
PO is asking where is the Prime Minister? They want him to explain what happened. They also want the Anticorruption Office, Headed by Mariusz Kaminski - one of the main figures in PIS - to start action on this case.
Kaczynski will give a speach at 8pm.
The Polish Senat wants to pass a decree saying that the mission of this Sejm has been finished (expired). This is supposed be an opinion rendered by the Senat on the way politics have been operating in Poland.
Lepper wants the President to ask his brother, the Prime Minister, to file his resignation.
Wierzejski, from the League Of Polish Families, said that his party is supporting the Government and that the coalition is stable.
