Polish criminal, now Poland's Deputy Prime Minister, record used against him.

Poland's Deputy Prime Minister, Andrzej Lepper, has a criminal record. Polish government opposition party, Civic Platform, has introduced a bill that would people prevent people with criminal records from running for parliament. Poland's Prime Ministerhas reversed his position and is now threatening to support that bill unless Andrzej Lepper stops causing problems.

The Prime Minister has also threatened to take as many members from the Samoobrona party in order to achieve an absolute majority in the next Polish elections.

Andrzej Lepper has apparently taken the threats very seriously. After meeting with Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski yesterday he agreed then it is not possible to rule the country in such chaotic conditions.

Regardless of his posturing, Lepper said that the the budget is unacceptable in its present form.

Lepper added that he himself is not afraid of early elections because he has his farm to which he can go back to.
