Hire a Polish worker before they are all gone.
Polish people have excellent reputations for working outside Poland. And European companies are inviting Polish workers and giving them wages that are much higher than the Polish people can earn in Poland. Polish workers are leaving Poland in droves. If you want to hire a Polish worker from Poland you had better do it now before they are all gone.
The Polish government has yet to acknowledge that there is a brain drain and a labor shortage. But the opposition political party, Civic Platform, sees the problem and is attempting to take some steps toward at least reducing the outflow of Polish labor to European countries.
As part of their proposal they are offering that the Government should provide loans of up to 100,000 zloty at favorable rates and conditions so that the people can start their own businesses. To date the Polish government has not disagreed with this proposal.
But if the early comments by a Polish people mean anything, a loan will be used by people who are staying in Poland anyway and the people want to leave Poland to work for much higher salaries will continue to leave.
Here is a comment typical of comments that one finds on blogs and in comments sections of web pages
A loan worth ZL100,000? I earn nearly ZL20,000 monthly here. Juliusz, aged 32, a manager at a large corporation, living in Dublin for five years, on the Civic Platform's (PO) proposal to tempt him and other Poles to return to Poland. http://www.pnb.pl Polish News Bulletin
The Polish government, if it is to propose effective solutions, has to acknowledge something that it would not acknowledge without cutting its own political throat. Work conditions in Poland are not good and the pay is bad. If this were not the case the people would not leave the country.
Since there is no indication that the government will relieve the burdensome rules and regulations that hamper business and cause wages to be very low, people will continue to leave the country to earn much better money elsewhere
So if you want to hire a Polish worker from Poland, you had best hire that person now and pay him well or it is likely that you will not find anyone later who has the same skill level.

Electrabel fears it will lose Polaniec power plant - Electrabel worries that its Polaniew power plant may be again controlled by the state.
Law and Justice (PiS), the ruling party, has prepared a bill concerning the national security. The bill provides that in emergency, companies may be made to render services or even be again acquired by the government with a compensation paid out to the investor. Belgian Electrabel, the owner of Polaniec power plant, fears that the company it privatized may be one of the first victims of the new law.
“We are the only fully operational power plant in the country because we decided for modernization works in winter. On Monday we were forced to switch off two blocks because of the lack of water for cooling. Immediately, journalists appeared. It seems like we are closely watched to prove that a private power plant is not able to provide energy security. Someone is trying to disturb our image, I’m wondering who’s that”, Grzegorz Gorski, Electrabel Polska CEO said.

Brain drain blamed for hospital death - An 83-year-old man has died in Poland after allegedly receiving poor hospital treatment linked to the "brain drain" of medical staff to richer EU countries.
An investigation has been launched in the southern town of Raciborz, where the man died from complications said to have been caused by an underqualified anaesthetist. The pensioner died on July 3 after an operation for an intestinal blockage.
Gazeta Wyborcza, a Polish newspaper, reported yesterday that an anaesthetist had failed to empty the patient's stomach and provide enough oxygen. The man had a severe choking fit, which was stopped by a more senior anaesthetist. The operation went ahead but the patient died as he left theatre.
