Will The Polish Prime Minister Make Another 100 Days
The recent news in Poland has been dominated by the Prime Minister and his party congratulating themselves on how successful have been their first 100 days in office. Will the Prime Minister be able to do the same at the end of the next 100 days?

Poland
This news service has been questioning the relationship between the Prime Minister of Poland, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz and the Leader, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, of the ruling Political party, PIS since soon after Prime Minister Marcinkiewicz was appointed to his position.Here.And Here
Today, 20 February, 2006 we take the next step and question whether Prime Minister Marcinkiwicz will make another 100 days in office.
Today it is reported in two Polish newspapers that a member of the Stabilization Pact coalition parties, Ryzard Cznarnecki, opined that that Jaroslaw Kaczynski is not happy with Primie Minister Marcinkiewicz because, among other reasons, Marcinkiewicz is appointing his people to positions in State Companies. Marcinkiewicz, known to be the liberal in the PIS government, is reportedly appointing people with opinions closer to those held by opposition party Civic Platform (PO) Marcinkiewicz is reportedly not appointing a Minister of Treasury for now so that he can make the appointments of people whom he wants in those positions.
That this difference is brought to light by someone outside PIS is interesting in its own right. For it to filter outside PIS circles there has to be open discussion inside PIS. And if this is being discussed, there is surely a chance that other dissention or disagreements exist.
Prime Minister Marcinkiewicz will have to respond. His testy response to reporters questions about Kaczynski’s speech in the Polish parliament last Friday indicates that something is afoot.
The report in the newspapers today indicate that the dissatisfaction is great enough that there may be a change in governments within the next 90 days.
Considering that the Prime Minister holds a higher popularity rating than Jarsoslaw Kaczynski and his brother, Leck Kaczynski, the President of Poland, removing him will be interesting.
Will he suddenly be cast as a bad guy against reform? Will the Kaczynski twins attack him to destroy his credibility? Will he fight back? With whom will the PIS party members side? Will he split PIS? Will he and some people move to PO and put PO into the majority without elections?
