It has been on line since 1996. It is one of the most popular web pages in our web site.
Use it to find your family history, current phone numbers or addresses, to locate friends and acquaintances, to reestablish contact with anyone.
Over 55,000 entries were made since 1996.
Entries are deleted when the email address used for contact is abandoned. So now there are about 15,000 entries in the database.
As technology has changed, we have upgraded our system and are reentering data into the database.
You enter information. Volunteers and other visitors to this site look at the entries. If they have information, they contact you.
When you enter data, we ask you for your email address. We do that so that we can send you a confirmation letter.
We send a confirmation letter to you for your protection and our protection. First we do not want spammers loading the database with offers for viagra and all that other trash that they send. Second we want to be sure that you are the one who made the request for information.
If you click on the link in our confirmation letter, your entry will pass to our editors who will check it to be sure it meets our terms of service.
If you do not click on the link in the confirmation letter, our editors will never see it. And your entry will be deleted after 7 days.
If you make an entry and do not get a confirmation letter, send us email at Contact Us Here . Include your entry. We will make a manual insertion for you.
Sometimes results are fast, but our experience has shown that when searching for relatives, it may take a couple years for someone to get back to you. So be sure to use an email address that you do not expect to change.
Your email address is kept private. It is not shown to anyone. People contact you through our private system that uses a form to send you a message. They never see your email address. You see theirs and can respond.
We send you email about once every three months to ask you to confirm that your listing is still valid. If the message comes back to us saying that your email address is no longer valid, your entry is deleted.
If you can help someone, please contact them through the reply function in the page.
You may also find someone with the same name that you have and they may be related to you or have information that you need.
You can help yourself by telling others about this service. As the word spreads, someone may have information that you want and they may contact you.
