Fruit Cocktail Salad
A recipe for a fruit cocktail salad in two variations.

1 #2.5 can of fruit cocktail. 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin, 2 tbs sugar, 1 tbs lemon juice, 1/4 tsp. salt, 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup evaporated milk, whipped, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
Variation
I can peaches, 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, 4 tbs powdered sugar, package vanilla sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 cup mayonnaise, 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. 300 ml boiling water.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Mix sugar, peach juice, salt, vanilla sugar and warm in microwave. Add dissolved gelatin mix.
Whip evaporated milk. Add and blend in mayonnaise.
Blend milk and mayonnaise with peach juice gelatin mixture.
Pour into mould. Add peaches and walnuts.
Chill until firm.
Combine all but whipped milk, mayonnaise, nuts and fruit. Heat the combination until gelatin dissolves.
Cool. Beat mayonnaise into milk.
Fold everything together. Chill.
