Frozen Fruit Salad Recipe
This recipe for Frozen fruit salad is easy to prepare, nice to serve and wonderful to eat.
It is not really frozen. It is just chilled rapidly. After it gels you keep it in the refrigerator until served.
Dissolve one package of lemon gelatin in boiling water. Allow to cool.
Blend in 125 grams of cream cheese and chill until rather thick but not firm.
Add one can of fruit cocktail with 1/2 cup of the syrup.
You can also use your own mix of pineapple, seedless grapes, nuts, peaches, cherries.
Whip one cup of cream and fold into the mixture.
Put into a lightly buttered mould and chill until firm.
Serve on a bed of lettuce.
