The Polish News Roundup.
A cooperative information service that focuses on materials related to Poland.
The European News Review A cooperative information service with a broad range of coverage.
History Of Europe News Review
Our news service evolved from a service dedicated only to Poland to a full blown service now dedicated to Europe. And we have moved from a simple web site to a state of the blog with RSS and Atom feeds plus daily email.
The Eastern European Review
This news service has been available since 1996. It was the first free English language news service issued from Poland.
It originally focused strictly on Poland for two basic reasons. First, at that time, there were very few news sources on the web with good content. Second, Poland was still in a very dynamic state of transition and we tried to keep the international community informed about what was happening here.
But as time moved forward, Poland joined the EU and has become proactive in European diplomacy. It has established itself as a European heavyweight with a lot to offer. It is affecting the world and the world is affecting it.
So we have broadened our coverage to present to you the varying views of Poland, Europe and things affecting Poland. We add some of our own comments and content. But too heavy a reliance would make this service to biased. So we take submissions from contributors and provide you what we think to be a cross section of things affecting Eastern Europe, Poland and the world.
What have our readers said about us?
I just wanted to thank you for putting together such a complete, informative place to read news about Poland. I enjoy being able to catch up on the news everyday without looking different places to get it. Also, your new format looks a lot better. It's very helpful and a lot easier to navigate. Keep up the hard work! Jacqueline M. R
First and foremost, thank you for providing the news service and interactive place for individuals who do, or want to do, business with Poland. Internet is littered with pseudo-informative email newsletters that are really just an excuse for pushing everything from paper clips to gardening tools; your service stands out true to its stated purpose. It's informative, witty and often thought provoking. Your publication inspired me to start a business with a goal to help US and Polish companies do business across the borders. Alexander P.
"I would like to thank you for emailing us with Poland Today newsletter.
It is appreciated here enormously as a source of fast and professional
information.
Could you please mention our internet address
>http://home.netcom.com/~brhusa/ - we have, we think, helpful pages both
in English and Polish specifically geared to assist Polish exporters in
their drive into US markets. There are searchable databases and
downloadable trade guides, lists of fairs and even trade leads."
With my best regards

"I am a subscriber for the past six months and love the depth, wisdom and unbiased look at Poland, cast against the global perspective."
"Your comments carry the weight of a solid, qualitative observation, usually a good basis of polls, surveys, questionaires, etc. You are good."
"Congratulations on your ongoing service which is truly outstanding and makes the test of us look like amateurs!"

And Why?
The Poland Today newsletter delivers useful information from Poland. You won't read much of this information anywhere else in the world. Find out what is really happening here. Hear it from the people on the front lines of life.
Poland Today delivers only interesting and immediately useable information and strategies that multiply your knowledge of Poland.
Does the world need another newsletter? We subscribe to over 100 different newsletters and discussion lists, most of which regurgitate the "same old, same old."
We're overwhelmed with a glut of news wire bulletins, press releases and herd mentality analysis of current events. Guess what? ... you can't use 99% of it. It's just the same thing in a different format.
If you are like me you probably delete most of them, and occasionally scan a few. But you won't do that with The Poland Today newsletter. You can be sure that there won't be the "same old, same old" there.
Every day our readers add their insights, articles, comments and creative ventures to keep you informed. Of course we give you a brief of the local news, weather, name days, currency rates and more. But it is the extras that really get you. If you miss a day, you have missed an event.
Our contributors include the President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski, the former President of Poland Lech Walesa, former Prime Minister Jozef Oleksy, Leszek Miller the leader of the SLD, Deputy Prime Minster and Minister of Finance, Leszek Balcerowicz, Former Minister of Finance Grzegorz Kolodko and many others.
And what is more, this is an open forum. We want you to submit your white papers, speaches, articles and other learned treatises. And if you don't feel that you fit in this class, just submit something anyway.
This is not "the same old same old." We want your input and comments.
